When I feel stuck, when I’m afraid to expose myself, to show something I’ve been working on or created quietly, an idea, or a project while it’s still taking shape, what sets me free is to begin promising myself and meaning it, with all my heart, that however it goes, even if I make mistakes along the way, even if it isn’t perfect straight away, or seen and welcomed by others, I will love myself anyway.
