I don’t actually know what it is, but I find ceramic an absolutely magical material, and I ENJOY EXPLORING WHAT'S AVAILABLE AROUND THE WORLD AS WELL AS KEEP UP WITH NEW COLLECTIONS - WITH AN EYE WIDE OPEN ON THE ITALIAN PRODUCTION AS THAT'S WHERE YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR THE NEWEST PATTERNS, TECHNOLOGY AND FORMATS! -
Back in time, when I arrived TO Australia I worked as interior designer in a tile showroom where I was helping people who were clients of the store, with their new builds AND renovations projects.
It’s been a very formative experience, and it just re affirmed how MUCH I love tiles!
Although I find the old ceramic cooking process extremely fascinating to these days, technology has really moved forward OVER THE years, making this material stronger and adaptable to more uses also including heavy traffic areas as well as a great way to decorate a room perfectly combining aesthetic and function – WHICH IS A KEY FACTOR FOR ME -
I MUST ADMIT HANDMADE TILES STILL HAVE MY HEART, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY COME WITH A PRICE A BIT HARDER TO LOVE :(
Colours and patterns are honestly endless, but I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite PATTERNS AND TONES that ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FROM some of my favourite tile suppliers here in Perth - which makes me ONE VERY happy DESIGNER :)
